The Charleston Waterkeeper has opened a new Community Science Lab where volunteers can help monitor local water quality and microplastic pollution across 18 testing sites.
The space rock weighed about 7 tons and released the energy of around 250 tons of TNT, said the head of NASA’s Meteoroid Environments Office.
