HOW TO: Substitute Oil for Butter… Butter is about 80% fat and 16% water so when using oil, substitute only 80% of the butter tapos add some liquid like water or milk… So kung 1 cup butter or 225g butter ang kailangan. Use only 180g oil. I highly recommend using cooking coconut oil. Tapos add 2 tbsps water or milk. I prefer to use milk… If using oil, I strongly suggest na real chocolate chips ang gamitin kasi yun ang magdadala sa overall flavor ng cookie… IMPORTANT NOTE: Dapat i-chill ang inyong

Can you swap butter for oil in baking? Yes — in most recipes you can, and here’s how to do it right. Butter adds rich flavor and structure. Oil keeps cakes extra moist and is often more affordable. Just melt the butter and replace the same volume of oil — this swap works beautifully in cakes, cupcakes, and quick breads. | Gemma Stafford
